At Robert's Homes and 1st Choice Quality builders the ability to customize your new home is only limited by your imagination and wallet (sorry). We do all of our own drawings and plans in-house so we can adjust any of our own plans, take a plan you bring us & adjust it to fit your needs, or start from scratch and design your very own unique plan. When it comes to upgrades, you our client will be given a set of allowances for each of the major areas of your house such as fixtures - both lighting and plumbing, flooring,& appliances etc. We have several retailers that we have a ongoing relationship with several local vendors who will be happy to assist you, and are familiar with the unique aspects of building a new home and have agreed to provide the best possible pricing based on our volume purchasing. Below is just a short sampling of the many areas past customers have upgraded.

Fixtures: Oil Rubbed Bronze is currently the in thing, and is just slightly more expensive than Brushed Nickel.

Lighting: Where to start, we provide you a set allowance for choosing your lighting fixtures based on our initial contract, when it comes time to choose your lights & fans, there is no end to the customization choices.

Flooring: One of the most popular upgrades is to add wood flooring in place of either the tile or the carpet. Wood floors come in a vast array of choices and grades, as do carpet and tile as well. During the design faze these options, and a ruff estimate of the cost will be given. Once your final selection is made, the exact amount will be figured up.

Appliances: We include with the standard home package very generous appliance allowance, however when you walk into our preferred appliance vendor, Metro Builders Supply in Tulsa (as of this web page creation), you will find that there is truly no end to the options for upgrading every appliance the cook in your family has ever dreamed about, and several more that have never even contemplated.

Landscaping: The exact landscaping plan will be discussed in detail during the contract stage and will be based on the size and location of your specific lot. The most common upgrades here are for more trees and a programmable sprinkler system.

Fireplaces: A relatively common upgrade is to go with a slightly larger than standard fireplace, and go with a wood burner with a gas starter.

Outside Fireplace: On our larger homes it is becoming quite common to have elaborate outdoor kitchens with gas log fireplaces.

Sound Systems: Surround Sound Systems are very popular these days, and it is becoming increasingly more popular to install the system throughout the entire house & include the back patio.
